See You Later!

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!
When my daughter turned five, we flew to Florida for our first real vacation. How well I remember her cry, "Mickey, Mickey!" when she spied the big ears high upon a water tower outside of the park.
Every parent's wish is to give their child a day of imagination, family fun and a wild escape into Disney.
Soon I get to do what new grandmas dream of doing--take my grandson there too!
This Tuesday, my daughter and her family arrive here in Florida for their annual visit. I haven't seen them since we flew to Seattle in August. I've baby proofed and unfortunately adult-proofed my house. (Can't get into my own cupboards now!) I've shopped for all their favorite snacks and cleaned out the spare bedrooms.
Hoping all of you have a busy productive writing week! I plan to pop in when I can but since the crib is sitting in my office--it might be a little touch and go:)

Oh boy; a memory maker!

Have a blast. I know that little guy's gonna remember his grandma far beyond his Mickey times.

Have a great time!

We've visited the parks in Orlando with our kids 4 times over the years, and someday I hope to have grandkids to take there, too. I love Disney World.

OMG Terri I have laughed at this posting .. adult proofed your house! [giggle] that might be a good way to achieve my diet better.

I'm sure it was a great trip! And thanks for your blog which always gives me something to think about, contemplate, or just exhale ...
