A lot of this and that . . .

Wow! You all really blessed me this week with your entries--I was blown away by the number!- and by the comments on my interview. Thank you for giving me so many blessings.

I decided to pick 4 winners instead of one: Jeannette, Julie G., Journaling Woman, and Analisa. Please send me your addresses and I will put a book in the mail this week. Let me know if you want it signed to someone or not:)

Other news-- I found out at 5pm last night after working all week that they filled the position. Not with me. With a relative. Ok. I really didn't like the job but had hoped it would happen as I understood it to be. So I'm back in the world looking for work again. What it did for me, though, was renew my confidence that I can go back into the working segment and survive.

God has a plan. I still believe that.

Finally, Deborah, a fellow blogger, is giving away some great gifts at her blog. If you get a chance, pop over and say hello!

See you next week when I share some of the critique comments I received from a RWA contest and how I can use then to improve my story.

I'm thrilled to win one of your books, Terri. Thank you! Can't WAIT to read it. :)

And I'm SO sorry about the job. But you're right...God has a plan. I firmly believe He is ordering your steps...to a job you might actually like.

Your interview was great. Sorry about the job, but it wasn't meant to be. Like you said, God has a plan.

Sounds like a season to walk in faith. Sometimes hiring decisions are so random and don't make perfect sense. Keep the faith.

Sorry about the job....but hope you find one you like better!

Thanks for the link!

Lovely interview Terri! Thanks for letting us share in your journey.

You certainly have a place in the working world, God has great plans to prosper you.

I enjoyed your interview!

I am so sorry about the job situation. Looking for work is about as fun as getting multiple root canals. I really am bummed for you!

My faith doesn't waver, but my energy level for handling the recession gracefully does--if that makes sense.

Hey Terri, I got to get over and read that interview. Ok, can I say this....I'm glad they filled the job and you didn't get it. I think He has some amazing plans for you. Yep. Stay strong.

Congrats to all the winners!

I'm sorry the position didn't work out. Terri, the Lord has the right job out there for you. It built your confidence. Did you think of applying to a temp agency?

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

Blessings,
Susan :)

It's so interesting how our lives unfold. What we think today can be so quickly edited by what happens tomorrow - - often without warning. What an adventure!

I see God's hand all over your life, friend. He's shaping, molding and moving you in some pretty powerful ways. I can hardly wait to see the newest chapters penned by His hand!

Blessings & hugs,
Kathleen

Hey hey. Look at what I missed. OYE. I guess I'd better read it now and stop trusting my google reader to update me. LOL.

Thanks so much Terri!
I emailed you and you can sign it to me that would be great!

Bummer about the job. Please hop over to my blog. You are the second blogger with a job issue this week and I feel like the words are for you too.

I am still looking because the one I am on is low paying and as a single mom it is not going to cut it. God is faithful and he will provide.

Sorry about the job and wish I could think of something encouraging to say. God does have an awesome plan for you so hold that close to your heart.

At least they filled it with a relative so you know it had nothing to do with you. I hate when they do that, though. You'll find something even better, I'm sure of it!

Sorry about the job, Terri. But we know that God has your life mapped and he knows where he's leading you, even if you can't see the plan right now! Hang in there and keep writing! :)
