Blogger Bits and Blessings

Oh wow. I am blown away by all the kind comments and remarks left on my last post. I don't think it could get any better if I'd posted about a book deal! Thank you again for all of your support. It is so appreciated.

But I have a concern. (I'm frowning.) A few bloggers have left such sweet thoughts here and there is no way for me to comment back to them. Their names aren't highlighted in a link and they don't have their e-mail set up on the blogger. So please, please don't think I'm ignoring you--just can't get back to you.

A writing update: I'm up to 30,000 words on Miracle on Coulter Mountain. You know how you feel when you write and you finally start getting into a rhythm?? Well, I'm rocking.

So thanks again for indulging me with some of my personal life episodes. I'll try to get back on track with the writing posts.

In the meantime, what good news do you want to share with me today?

Your personal life impacts your writing life and I can't wait to see the next miracle..."The miracle of this book being published." I am confident HE has a perfect plan just as HE did with the job.

Terri, you are so sweet!! I'm sure not everyone expects a reply--but I guess that's what makes you so likeable. Rooting for you on the writing! Glad it's going well.

it's great after the trial of your faith to reap the blessings...I'm working on a children's book and attending a new critic group today and got some really helpful constructive suggestions so I'm purring along.

I was excited to hear of your new job partially because it must mean the economy is on the upswing? Not much happening here in Northeast Ohio, but hopefully recovery will arrive here soon. (I don't know where you reside.)

Wonderful news, too, that you are on the roll with the book. God is good!

It feels so good to rock. Good news, hmm.? We are having 20 children over tomorrow for a puppy party. Haven't decided if that's good or bad news. ;)

Good news here, um, the doctor can get me and the kids in at eleven thirty. LOL!
Seriously though, I'm glad no one is throwing up. *grin*

I agree. The blogging community is a very special group of writers. Congratulations on 30,000 words!

Congrats, Terri! I wondered why you were posting tweets about needing to go clothes shopping and now I know! How exciting! (In a previous life I was a social worker too!) Blessings to you!

Congrats Terri. I am really happy for you. God is always faithful to what He has promised. The course of time doesn't change His nature.

The good news for me is that I am finally beginning to realize that Christ has done a complete work on calvary for me. Its no longer me, but Christ living in me.

I knew it in my head now I know it in my spirit, so I am free and you are too in Him.

I am walking a different walk.

Blessings,
Vickie

This has been a very busy week for me, so when I don't have time for my writing I get a bit cranky. But the last two days, I've been able to squeeze in some time, and God has honored that time with good thoughts and, hopefully, good prose.

33,000 words in; approximately 17,000 to go. Just hope someone likes it as much as I do.

The good news I want to share is I read your post from a couple of days ago...my Internet was down, you know...and am thrilled and happy about your job. Good things do happen to good people...maybe not when we want, but they do happen. Great news.

Best Wishes Galen.

Glad to hear you are making great progress! It does feel good to be making strides, in the beginning your legs cramp easily but after that you feel the rush of your steps thudding excitement in your heart!

Happy writing!

Congratulations on the great joy on your WIP! Glad you put to words what I've been thinking when I can't send a comment response to a blogger who has left a sweet comment! Have a fantastic weekend and keep that writing momentum going!! God bless!

30,000 words. Wow! That's quite an accomplishment. I can't wait to buy your book!

My good news is that I helped a mission group that my church is involved with, and who's based in the Dominican Republic, set up a blog this week so they can tell about their relief efforts in Haiti. You can see it here: www.foundationforpeace.blogspot.com

Have a great weekend. Can you send some warm weather up here, please?

All I can say is that I can TALK 30,000 words worth; no sweat! Writing them? Not so easy.

The great news at our house is the addition of yet another grandchild - a "surprise" due in June.

Isn't life amazing?

Hugs,
Kathleen

I'm still praying for you, Terri. May you get settled into the routine of work and absorb the details quickly. May you find favor with all you meet, and may all the enemy robbed be restored to you ten-fold. :)

My praise report: I enjoyed the "A Woman Inspired Conference" Webinar this week. Refreshed and blessed, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and move forward.

Blessings,
Susan

So glad you're enjoying writing your book right now. I love it when that happens. Are you still looking for just the right agent?

Nothing beats the knowing that the creator of the universe is active and interested in our lives.

Talk about been able to rest; it's like sinking into a great big feather bed after a HARD days work.

And the next best thing is hearing about it happening!! Thank you for sharing this part of your life. It feeds hope all over.

It is fun when you're on a roll. I'm rolling right now. Thank goodness Rich isn't fussy about what he eats, 'cause when I'm writing you never know what will be on the menu.
