Catch up time

I'm not a fan of blog breaks--too easy to lose your momentum but I have found myself so behind since flying out to Washington last week, that I must.

I pushed myself yesterday and today and did complete my first revisions on my WIP. But now that I've started-- I want to finish. I need to get it out to my critique partners some time.

I also feel like I have been lax in my visiting you so instead of a blog break, I'll be taking a visiting tour to catch up on all of your lives while I review my book again.

Be back soon!Write hard!

I hate getting out of touch when I take blogging breaks, but it's important to identify priorities, and right now it sounds like your priority needs to be your WIP. I hope your revisions continue to go well. Will look forward to your posts when you're able to return. :)

You'll be missed but you are fulfilling God's call. A friend shared a quote with me that I revisit often: "There are enough hours in the day to do what God calls you to do.... And no more." Keep doing what He calls you to do ;)
Blessings,
Susan

I know what you mean about momentum and breaks. I agree, but I've found I just have to take breaks sometimes or my head will explode. Not a pleasant thought, you know? :)

Have a good, productive one!

Sometimes blog breaks are inevitable. I take them whenever I feel the need, and usually when I come back, I feel refreshed. :-)

Enjoy the break, Terri. Just look at it as recharging, not shutting down, okay? :) You're investing somewhere else for a little bit.

Love ya!

I need to crack down and get my revisions far enough to get the story out to my partners too. I'm afraid they'll give up on me if they don't get something soon!

Writing comes first. Well, behind family and any paying jobs we have, that is! And THEN comes blogging. Well, wait...all that is AFTER taking care of you and making sure you're happy and healthy. Okay, now I'm done!
