In love

I'm in love with the city of Charleston. We spent Saturday riding the trolley cars to get a feel for the layout of the area. For $4.00 a person, we could get on and off the air conditioned bus as many times as we wanted and use any other bus in the system.

First we went to Market street and viewed the expanse of shopping areas. Lunch took place in an old church turned into a restaurant complete with stained glass windows. After filling our stomachs - we explored more streets from history and returned to the Visitor's Center to retrieve our car.

Not a bad kickoff for writing too already although today we moved for the 4Th time in one week. Faulty electrical outlets this time...I hope I'm home now in this studio for the duration.

No excuse

I'm here - looking out of my hotel window. No excuse not to write. Finally, I've learned to manage my new laptop - I've mastered my new printer and I have all the peace and quiet I need. Now for some inspiration! Actually, this is perfect. If God sent me here to write - he couldn't have provided a better environment. I already composed a short story yesterday and hope to start finishing my book on Monday but for the weekend...ah...we are off to explore the city of Charleston.

Take One

In a few days - I'll be posting from the town of Charleston...a place I've always wanted to visit. Now I will living there for several weeks. I'm looking forward to discovering all the history buried there as well as the new culture. It will be a place I finally delve back into my book and hopefully add many more thousands of words. It will also be the place I seriously take my writing even more serious. Until then...
