A thankful commercial Break

Ok-- So I wasn't going to post today but I had to. So many of you heard my complaint about not being able to get on some of the blogs. So this morning I took your advice, though coward I am, I made my husband download Foxfire to his computer first.

Wow! What a huge difference! All this time he thought his computer ran slow because of the Internet speed and it wasn't! This browser is so fast!

So then I got brave when I found out I could keep my Explorer browser still just in case. I downloaded it too on this computer and I can get to all the blogs I couldn't!!! But another awesome feature is the spell check in the blogger comment box. How many times have you been embarrassed after seeing you misspelled a comment?

So there ends my advertisement. But thank you again blogger friends for helping me out with this simple answer that I put off for too many weeks. Now I can spend time today going around and catching up on everyone's blogs.

You are the second person I have heard talk about this so I may have to get it myself. How did you get it?

As for the Marketing me post. I have found out that if you don't talk about yourself who will?

You are going to move me further along on this technological line, aren't you? Thanks for it. I owe you!

Yay! Firefox is the best. And I remember feeling the same way as you about the spell check. I am such a bad speller, that I never use Explorer anymore. :)

WOW! We already have firefox on our computer. My hubby uses it for his browser so we can both have our emails open at the same time. I'm going to have to check this out! LOL! Maybe I'll boot him to the windows one! LOL! Jenni

Google has a free browser as well that offer the spell check also, called Chrome. It has totally saved me. I never use my explorer any more. Well hardly anyway.

Ooo I'm glad I popped in, I've been wondering how to cure the problems with I.Explorer. Firefox crossed my mind but I didn't know enough about it. Thank you for this post.

LOL, I did this a few weeks ago. The spellchecker in the comments section is AWESOME!

I switched to FoxFire in March after Explorer allowed a virus to infect my computer. I LOVE FoxFire and have never again used Explorer. Welcome aboard!

Hmmm, I thought I was kind of in the loop technologically. Guess I'm not since I didn't know about Foxfire. Fast is good, I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the info on Foxfire. It's just one of the things I n need to check about when I get with one of my "experts."
I sometimes have trouble making comments. Once, I had to push an anti-pop-up button "temporarily" so I could comment. Sometimes, I just can't get in no matter what I do.

Hi Terri, I popped in to say thank you. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have plucked up the courage to download Firefox. Oooo it's great being able to open and close pages and blogs without everything either going slow or freezing. Many thanks for the indirect help.

I have firefox too...I love it! We haven't used I.E. for years. There were too many problems, and it seemed more susceptible to viruses and such.
