So I ran away to the beach today. Again. It was my husband's birthday and who wants to sit home and feel old?
But tonight I tried to catch up on some of the blogs. Wow . . . I am amazed again at all the talent I've come into contact through them. If I could only just read them all the time and do nothing else, I might be satisfied.
But I'm not because all of you spur me on to write. Or follow my dreams or step out of my box.
And I love that.
If I'm having a down day, I only need to start clicking through a few here and there and the mood lifts.
Isn't it nice knowing your writing is affecting so many already?
And now to get back at it. Tomorrow morning. My critique partners have sent me some of their final chapters to read as I have them of Sprinkling of Promises. I'm getting close--close to really having it done to send out.
And that, my fellow bloggers, is a whole other post!
What's on your agenda for Thursday? Or is it a beach day for you?

Working on book2 - I need to get busy busy busy!
Glad your spirits lifted :)
Hey Terri,
First, Happy Birthday to your husband and secondly, I love the beach! Was only able to get there twice this summer.
As for what's what for Thursday? resting to kick a head cold while spending time with JESUS. That's all I plan on doing tomorrow and that's a blessing to my heart as it's much needed.
Keep pressing forward. My love and prayers remain for you and hubby.
Yo, Terri, Be sure to stop by on Thursday. I'm gonna talk about an online device that might help wth critique groups, or anyone who needs to do a document review "long distance." It's kinda neat, and, best of all...free. woo hoo!
Best Regards, Galen

I don't know your husband's name so I hope he'll forgive me for sending him:
Happy Birthday greetings to Mr. Terri Tiffany - Inspirational Writer.
Writing, writing, writing...
Happy Birthday to your husband! My Thursday has been hectic so far, but I'm looking forward to a quiet evening at home. Maybe play some Wii bowling with my husband!
Thursday's actually my Friday since I work a 4 day week. So tomorrow I'll wrap up my office doings before heading home to relish a 3 day weekend.
So glad you got a dose of the beach today. I believe it has magical qualities for writers. No doubt you'll be doubly focused tomorrow!
Be blessed,
Kathleen
That's what I should have done, gone to the beach! It's so hot out and I spent the day taking the kids to the doctors for a routine check up. I have to go to Target tonight so that should be fun.
I wish it was a beach day for me! But I will be happy revising. Don't you just love all the stuff you can learn from these blogs, and the way you feel after reading them?
Happy Birthday, Terri!
Blessings,
Susan :)
I wish it was beach time! But I'll be enjoying critiquing and revising :)
You're doing awesome! I'm so thrilled about the finishing stages for you.
Tomorrow will be full of several errands, but I'll also carve out some downtime for WIP work.
Hope your day is productive!
Happy Birthday to your hubby! And I'm smiling at the thought of "almost done." Yes!
No beach day for me, especially since we moved away from the Jersey shore to the rolling hills of KY, but the day holds a brisk walk with a good friend. Then grocery shopping, (Woo hoo! Okay, so maybe not, it really isn't my favorite activity:) and writing lesson plans for my online homeschool teen course. Some more writing will be next, if there is time, and then my gang will be coming over for family dinner night...so it will be a good day. Life on the edge in KY...Blessings to you and your readers!
I, too, am amazed at how many good writers there are out there, how much encouragement and how much deep theological thinking. I could spend much more time reading and learning than I already do. Christian bloggers are one of the best things to happen to the net.
Well, it's not the beach, but I'll be in the backyard pool with a good friend.
Thursday? Hmmmm, a nap is definitely on the schedule. Even though I went to bed at nine thirty I still only managed to get like six hours of sleep. My kids wake me up all night. Sigh.
I'm glad you feel encouraged to write! :-) And I hope you feel more up today!
I love that name Sprinkling of Promises and that you can escape to the beach. Me? My editor read my manuscript and said she couldn't put it down,it was well written and only requires a few minor changes. So I will work on that.
Terri have an awesome day. God has some neat adventures in store for you.
Certainly a day to walk. Beautiful weather here! I agree that hopping on blog posts can be so inspiring! :D

Happy Birthday to your hubby. I wish it were a beach day for me, but instead it's a cleaning one.
:(
I hope you have a wonderful day though!!
I am often lifted by the blogs I read. It is so encouraging to know that other writers get stuck, have doubts or just don't feel like looking at that piece they are working on. The human condition.
Have a great day!
My agenda: work, go home, and write!
This is blog catch up day for me. I love it, but the beach sounds heavenly.
I'm glad you are nearing one of your goals. I certainly am proud to say that I am one of many who cheers you on to greatness.
we are vacationing at the oregon coast and i'm writing lots of poetry...fun
Would love to have a beach day!!
Too jealous for words!!
Blessings

I wish it was a beach day. We did go Tuesday but it is a small beach and a stinky lake, but it was very PEACEFUL! Loved it. Good way to recharge.
No beach for me today, but I did get to spend time with my dil and grandson. We made a diaper cake for her sister's baby shower (it's diapers rolled up and shaped into a cake full of little gifts). Lots of fun! I'll probably post it on FB after the shower. Oh, and I finished editing the template for my new craft blog! Woo hoo!
