Update

I haven't been able to post lately due to being out of state with family. I can't wait to get back into the loop when I return.Thank you again for your prayers!

If you get a chance though, I'm the guest blogger over at Author Culture today and would love to have you stop by. It's the first time I've been asked to post anyplace else and feel really blessed for the opportunity. Thanks!

Praying for you while you are away. Also praying for your mom. I will jump over and check out your post.

You should contact Edie at http://richgifts.blogspot.com She will make a prayer button for your mom that can be posted on all our blogs. She does this free as a ministry. Just tell her I sent you.

Blessings and prayers, andrea

Terri, I went back a couple of posts and read about your mother. I am so sorry to hear this but I truly believe God will heal her. My father was just diagnosed with lung cancer as well other places. His treatments are quite aggressive and it's hard watching him go through this. I've put it all in God's hands. I know you and your mother will receive a wonderful blessing soon. As much as it is hard to hear...cherish every day...good or bad. My own mother passed away 2 years ago (diabetes, heart disease, and bone cancer). Cancer is common in our family...but it will never beat us or our God.

I pray you have a year filled with a sense of God's Hand on your life, a year of walking in His strength through doors you know He opened. This is just the beginning for you.

OK... so I'm at a family gathering this evening, and my sister (who isn't a believer) hands me my Christmas present; I open it up. A book that seems vaguely familiar to me. I then begin to peruse the contents and see a name I recognize. A blogging friend named Terri Tiffany whose "silver linings" is included.

Yes, of all the books my sister could have randomly picked out for me this year (and I do mean very random... as random as random gets), she gets me "Christmas Traditions", and I was blessed beyond words.

Small world; big God.

Merry Christmas.
