This email came right on the tail of my decision to stop blogging. Most of you who read my posts know I've been going back and forth with continuing or not. I started this blog right before Curt lost his job and I've been writing about our efforts to survive ever since. It wasn't the intended purpose but it's where my life went.
We still have a huge mountain in front of us--making our business successful--building a home--dealing with the reason we left PA--the cold.
But now that I've come full circle and am back home with friends and family, I really feel the need to focus on what I started to do years ago. Write a good novel.
I know, I've written seven already. None of them are good. That's what's wrong. I am much busier here with life and so I want to spend more time trying to write that "good enough" novel.
So here's my plan. I'm not going to blog again until I can come on here and give you some good news about my writing career. Who knows if Blogger will even exist by then but that's the plan today.
It feels good to make a decision like this.
Please stay in touch with me on Facebook. It's my second home. And thanks for the wonderful following all these six plus years!

While I will miss this blog, I understand the decision. It consumes creative energy. I struggle with this decision myself.
Seasons come and they go. It would appear your season in the Blogosphere, like Florida or Texas, has ended - - at least until there be new blooms on the desires of your heart.
See you on FB. In the meantime, many blessings in each & every one of your pursuits.
Kathleen
I'll miss you here but will be praying for you on this journey. :) Cheering you on, wherever the Lord may lead!
blogging can become a chore but it's also a place to get you writing...good luck with your project...
Good for you! Having direction at long last is a relief, isn't it?
Keep us posted on FB, my friend.
"For everything there is a season under Heaven" This is your season to change...God bless you Terri. You have been one of the most supportive women I know in spite of your personal troubles...I hope to read your book one day!
I will miss you blog, but I applaud your decision. I think you have been heading that way for some a while now. Focus on writing in the area where you will see progress on a pursuit that is most important to you.
Your blog will be missed! But I totally understand. I cut back a lot on blogging myself.
Glad we'll keep in touch through facebook and wishing you all that God has in store for you ;D
Susan
Well, maybe you'll have good news tomorrow? *grin*
I'm glad I have your e-mail addy. :-)
I'm so glad we're friends on FB! I completely understand. Sometimes we have to make choices that are hard, but work for us. I sometimes wonder how long I'm going to keep up my craft blog. Everything we do requires thought and time...and there's only so much time! Thinking of you my friend--I know you'll come up with a wonderful book!
I will miss your blog posts. Yours was one I never wanted to pass over. But I certainly understand the decision as I've made similar changes myself lately.
TOTALLY get it, Terri. And I'm with Jessica - maybe tomorrow ;)
Thank you Terri for always being open and sharing your life and writing journey and I look forward to reading that novel one day.....See you on Facebook!
I'll be watching for that good news! I'm glad I'm still able to keep up with you on fb. I'm hoping to see some pictures of that house you're building!
I totally understand your decision, Terri. Writers feel the push to be online, and something has to give sometime if they're going to still write, too. Good luck, and I'll keep an eye on you on Facebook!
Terri, I'd like to follow you on FB. I don't know how to find you there for sure. Friend me through my blog. Hope to see you on FB.
Hi Terri...You know I wish you the very best. Your blog has been a good place to visit, in good and sad times. You have had a tremendous following and have helped a lot of people. Now it's time for you! May the Lord guide you in all your endeavors. Susan
Sending you love and best wishes. May yGod be with you, smile upon you and give you peace.
You will be missed. I don't do Facebook very much, but I will "friend" you! Praying that you will find the success you are hoping for completing your novel and your writing career.
xoxo,
Mary
Applauding you for putting that writing stake in the ground, Terri! God bless you with encouragement and wisdom to write the book He'd have you deliver.
Looking forward to keeping up with your journey via Facebook! :)
God bless~
I will definitely miss your blog Terri. Hope things work out for you. Here is praying that you write that super novel soon.

All the best to you, Terri. Cheering you on as you go. Glad to have been able to follow you these past couple of years and, tho I'm not on Facebook (yet!), I'll be thinking of you and wishing you success :-)
I wish you the best of luck. I'm Theresa Brown Milstein on Facebook.
You know I'll stay in touch with you, honey! Thanks for your encouragement in my journey, and being a good role model of standing in the storms of life, and not giving up.
Hugs,
jen
I'll miss reading your blog, but I can't wait to see what great things happen with your writing!
This is good! Focussing on your writing is far more important for now. As long as you don't give up, you WILL write that novel--one that's not only "good enough", but is brilliant!
I like Jessica's postive attitude here - we'll here from you tomorrow! I do believe we'll hear about that book. Keep on!
Terri, I have enjoyed following your journey and catching up on posts when I've gone off radar for a while. With your perserverance you will succeed! I really believe that.
God continue to lead you and bless you and Curt.
I wish you the best . . . and keep writing!
Congratulations on your decision! Your tenacity is inspiring. And focus! I look forward to keeping up with you on facebook.
I've been struggling with my writing blog too. It is low on priority so is not getting done.
I look forward to reading you hear again too!
You have to make choices. I'm glad you were able to see what works for you. I will miss your blog, but I'm so glad we can connect on Facebook. I know you have a great book in you. Enjoy this time.
Terri thank you for sharing yourself and much hugs to you dear one.
I'm missing you here, Terri, but I understand your need to focus on the novel. I'll hunt you up on FB just to keep tabs on your progress.
Many blessings to you!
I haven't been here in a while and it's so heartening to see God's been really busy in your life. I know you're exactly where you need to be, both you and your husband, for whatever great gifts await. I fully expect one of those gifts will be a completed and published novel, which I look forward to reading. I miss you, think of you often, pray for you whenever your name presents itself.
Hoping you will change your mind...
Thinking of you, Terri <3
Doris
