It's Friday in Florida

And I rolled over and lifted one eye. 6:24 Ugh.

It's a sin to get out of bed before the sun does. Not an easy feat in the Sunshine State.

But it's Friday and I have two days left in this week. My brain has been buzzing with blog posts, editing notes, story lines and deadlines. It's been a good week to accomplish much of the writing I wanted to do but I haven't completed all my goals yet.

I need to unplug the house phone, turn off What Not to Wear, hide my IPOD, and bury my vacuum cleaner in the closet so I can focus on writing those two thousand more words.

I've got a plan for my writing--do you? Are you already thinking about next week and what you hope to accomplish?

But this week isn't over yet.

We still have today--are you ready to write, submit, create, blog, produce?

I will be after my bowl of oatmeal.

Terri,
Other than the fact that my work day can't really start until after the kids are at school, I get what you're talking about.

I started my blog only 5-6 weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying it. I knew it was the right thing for me to do, but I don't know if God plans for it to lead to anything else (like writing for publication). In the meantime, I'll keep plugging away at the blog and refine my writing. Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I'll be back to see what other inspirations you can give me. ;)

Oh! And that is so not the Florida coast in your header photo!!! Looks like southern California to me....

So, where is it? :)

Always have a plan. It helps keep me focused. Today, revising & editing. I'm curious, like Steph, about the blog photo. Or is that the one hill in FL you'd mentioned recently ;)

Sounds like your response to the alarm clock is much like mine. :)

Best of luck getting the last of your goals accomplished. I hadn't set anything specific for myself in advance for this week, I had to play much of it by ear. But, I do need to tweak my column, which is due next week. Must get hopping!

Blessings!

lol, the first thing I was going to ask about was the header photo. Wherever it is, it's absolutely breathtaking. Makes me miss the ocean. Not much of that in Ohio where I live. :(

Also, I enjoyed your post. I'm constantly planning where I will go next in my writing process. I think it keeps me focused, something I need desperately. :)

Hi Terri, this is my first time commenting on your blog and I know it won't be the last.

I just recently started a blog to help develop my writing skills. I don't know what the next step is, but I have been encouraged by your writing and will definitely stay around to see what I can learn from your experiences.
I have been setting some writing goals but having a hard time sticking to them. Asking God for help daily with it.

BTW I added your blog link to my own blog.

Thank you
Vickie
