Book Give Away

Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Golf Book

101 Great Stories from the Course and the Clubhouse

Golf is a sport of passion and obsession like none other, and who is better positioned to obtain the best stories from the golf industry than Golf Digest editor Max Adler and team. Chicken Soup and Golf Digest magazine have put together a great collection of personal stories that will inspire, amuse, and surprise golfers. Celebrity golfers, weekend golfers, beginners, and pros all share the best stories they’ve told at the 19th hole about good times on and off the course. Chicken Soup’s golf books have always been very successful -- with the addition of Golf Digest’s industry connections, this book should hit a hole in one.
I'm giving away a copy! Just leave a comment this week--from Monday thru Friday--and earn a chance to win a copy of Chicken Soup's newest book. (You can also read my story in it when you do!) I'll announce the winner next Saturday!

Ooh enter me! I'm not a golfer but my grandma used to be an avid one and this would be a great gift to send to her.
:-)
I want to read your story too!

How fabulous! Congratulations.

I've never been much of a golfer. Long ago I decided it was somewhat silly to chase a little white ball around a huge park with a stick for six hours. Needless to say, my golfer hubby took great exception!

That said, I know funny and/or inspirational golfer stories abound. No doubt your own will be among the best!

Hugs,
Kathleen

Congrats on seeing some of the fruits of your labor come to print! Also, congrats on passing the test. It seems to me that you have a lot of balls juggling in the air right now. You are wise to take time for yourself when you have a few spare moments.

Enjoy the week with Jesus; He is so worthy of our time.

Terri,
I would so love to win this book for my husband. He was and still is an avid golfer, along with my son, my grandsons (who are 5 & 3). My husband had open-heart surgery in Dec. 2006 at 49 yrs. of age. He has post-pump syndrome, which occurred during the surgery. His mind was very sharp, had the shapest memory. Because of the injury, he has short-term and long-term memory loss and cannot drive anymore. He still plays golf, not as expertly as he did, but still plays continuously in the summer. He would love this book. Put me in the hat of for the drawing. Thanks.

I would also enjoy reading what you wrote in it. Whatever person wins, would you personally sign it?

Hugs,
Alleluiabelle
