Elaine! Thank you so much for showing me how to do this!!! I never knew what that button up top meant. Hmmm, what else am I missing?

lol, Terri, I feel the same way sometimes.

By the way, I was reading some recent posts and I see that you have sent out queries! That's fantastic, way to go.

You are inspiring me to wrap up my edits and get out there. :)

Well, good luck! Keep us posted!

Terri, I read on Renee's comments how, if I read it right, you only save your work onto Word. Oh please, save it on a flash drive or cd, every day! If your hard drive crashes, all your work is permanently lost. There is no retrieving it. And it happens, it did to me!! (A few years ago).

Hi Terri, Any day that I work on any of my writing, I save those files. I know the fear of a crashed hard drive, it wasn't fun, and so now it's worth the effort to save anything of value that I'd worked on.

On the save-your-gems thread, I just got the most fantatic birthday present Friday: A "My Book" external hard drive. I'm so glad my kids are techno-savvy. I didn't even know those little things existed. Yeah, I have a flash drive with my manuscript and poetry saved to it, but now I can save E*V*E*R*Y*T*H*I*N*G to my portable HD. If only I could find one of those for my human brain...which is sadly in need of defragging and compacting. LOL (Hmmmm, maybe I'll do a blog post on that!)
